Camping Trip Essentials
To make the job easier for you, I will try to give a few pointers on what you cannot forget in this article. I have focused on the most important things, the things you can't afford to forget. Things like tooth paste i have chosen to ignore.
For me the most important gear that I pack is my cooking gear. I, as just about every camper, really like to light a fire when camping, but it is not always easy to find dry wood in the wild. Therefore I always bring a small gas heater or something similar.
Another thing that you should make sure that you don't forget is your tent. Even though the sun is shining and no clouds can be seen, I always bring the tent because you never know. It is a pain to walk back in pouring rain. Remember that you can sleep outside under that sky even if you have your tent in your backpack.
When you have the tent safely placed in your backpack it is time to find your sleeping bag. Just as with the tents, I know that a lot of people say that they don't need a sleeping bag. For me, a sleeping bag is extremely important as i have problems sleeping without something around my body. I also use a mattress, primarily an inflatable mattress.
My best friend when camping is without a doubt my GPS. The problem is that they are quite expensive. For just about anyone a map and compass will do just fine.
The most important thing that everyone should bring still remains. And that thing is food. A lot of people will probably starve to death if they don't bring any food from home. In addition this food is a lot easier to prepare and cook. If you also bring a camping chair, you will be sure to have meals that will go into the same category as the best you have ever had. -->
