Canal Bandit - A Day Of Fun For All Ages

It was another amazing Brisbane day with fabulous sunshine and the water was beckoning to us. It didn't take much for my children to convince me to get our inflatable boat out and make a day of it on the water.

So with my 12 year old daughter and my 6 year old daughter, out came our Gemini Canal Bandit. I ended up the ballest in the front and my 6 year old was driving. I anticipated some sedate cruising as I thought my weight should slow down the speed. How wrong I was. Our Gemini powered by a Mercury 6hp took off with instant acceleration.

It is a parents greatest joy to see their children pierce the air with their shrieks of laughter and obvious joy and all of us bonding in such a treasured way. This all as a result of one little inflatable boat and some family time. Hours of safe fun and enjoyment for an entire family. Eventually my 11 year old son booted me off the Canal Bandit and procceded to whiz back and forth with his brother both smiling and laughing and having an absolute blast.

I stood on the shore proudly watching my sons ride in the boat. Knowing that they were not only have the time of their lives but completely safe doing circuits, jumping wakes of other boats and generally cruising around. Eventually I had to call them in, but both begged for 5 minutes more. (As only kids do best) and of course I only got them in when the tank ran to empty.

What a great little fun boat the Canal Bandit it . It has fabulous qualities such as it's small and compact it stores on its side in the garage. Not an expensive toy as it does not need a trailer. The Gemini is easy to handle and light. What good value when I consider how much joy it gives my kids and the skills it teaches them. It has been fabulous to see how they have reacted to accepting responsibility and amazing how much it has helped develop my sons co-ordination. Thank you to our Gemini.
