Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica - A Caribbean Paradise And Hotel Banana Azul
We ended up staying in a small beachfront hotel called: Hotel Banana Azul. I found this hotel in the internet and had always wanted to visit it because the pictures looked very nice. So I decided it was now or never.
I found this hotel in the internet and had always wanted to visit it because the pictures looked very nice. So I decided it was now or never. The hotel offers rooms, bungalows, suites and even an apartment made out of wood and in the middle of the rain forest. Yes, this means it rains a lot in the area but it also means that there are tons of animals in the surroundings.
Some other things that this hotel offers are: private bath in all the rooms, free wireless internet and an 8 people Jacuzzi and a swimming pool.
My experience in this hotel was fantastic, the place is beautiful and a couple of meters away from the beautiful beach. As I said before all rooms are made out of wood but not only from the outside. The decoration is almost all made out of wood too. This for me made it a warm and homey place to my eyes.
But we didn't spend all our time in the hotel we also decided to go on a chocolate tour, which was great. I have to say I'm not a big fan of chocolate but after seeing all the process before it actually becomes chocolate and experiencing those great smells I had to try it. After a relaxing walk on the beach I decided that I loved this place and would highly recommend it to anyone. -->
