Scuba Diving in Aruba: A Fascinating Island Vacation
You can also view beautiful formations of coral under the water surrounding the island. These formations are a sight to behold. With their unique shapes and various colors they make for a breathtaking adventure. Well worth the trek to do scuba diving in Aruba.
Swim around Aruba with a variety of breeds of fish in the water so fine and clear. Get the chance to watch the famous marching lobsters. Though, nature is not the only thing to observe on your dive.
While scuba diving in Aruba you will come across several of these shipwrecks around the island waters. You can see the Blue Reef or the Debbie II, both are at a depth of 70 feet. You can also see the Pedernalis at a depth of 25 feet. This wreck is washbasins, cabins, and other things, that are part of this particular oil tanker, which was sunk by a German torpedo in World War II.
Then you can examine the Jane Sea Wreck. This goes from a depth of 20 feet all the way down to 100 feet. It is a cement freighter that is 250 feet long which is located in an upright positioned in about 90 feet of water on the bottom.
At the depth of 70 feet to 80 feet is a real interesting wreck which is the Sonesta Airplane. It is a Convair 240 bounded by colorful sponges and soft corals. It was broken up into 3 sections by Hurricane Lenny in 1999. Certainly, this is a must to see.
Between the wrecks, coral, clear water, and tropical fish you have much to keep you fascinated. You might find that you want to do scuba diving here more than once! There's so much to glimpse that a single dive will not be enough to see it all. You will want to arrange several dives per trip, or better yet several trips!
Rather than lugging your own gear with you, you can just hire your equipment at the dive shops around. If you don't have much dive experiences and still on the learning stage, you can enroll for lessons to get certified. You are then to learn more wonderful surroundings about scuba diving! An instructor will guide you through the whole course.
Known for being some of the whitest anywhere, the white sandy beaches here is where you can spend enjoyable, relaxing time. Take the lovely moment to also catch a sunset or two, which are breathtaking. When you combine all there is to see you will have an unbeatable Island vacation.
