Dog Training is Easy
The enviorment can be an important factor in your training sucess. If there are too many distractions. The dog will not respond as well as when it is a quiet place.
A person should be chosen for their ability to bound with the dog. If you want more than one person training the dog. Introduce each person slowly. Who ever is going to work with the dog must use the training methods as the other people that are training.
A strong and firm voice should be used during training. Show of affection can go a long way to gaining trust and cooperation. Screaming can show a lack of control. It not only causes a fear response but may be detremental to all the work done.
Try to be very patient. Every dog learns at there own pace. This will not change because all dogs are different.
When working with a dog consider the breed. You may have some breeds that want to play a lot. Others like the german shepard are very easy to train. Find there strong points and develop them.
Using the correct training method is paramont. There are many methods out there. Each trainer has methods they use more than others. One method is using treats. The way you can decide what method is best for your dog is to try them and see which works best.
Trying to develop a training schedule that works for your dog is important. Do not try to teach too many things at once. The key to success is focusing your effort on one behavior at a time.
Remember to follow the steps and you will have a happy well behaved dog. Enjoy your pet and give him love. -->
