Tips For Selecting a donut Dog Bed

One of the more traditional, classic styles is the donut dog bed. This bed isn't the latest and greatest in fashion, and there are many designer beds out there that may seem better. However, the classic design of this dog bed is that it has consistently shown itself to be both comfortable for dogs and nice to look at for owners.

One reason donut dog beds are so nice is that they can easily be disassembled. The fluffy fabric which surrounds the base gives them something to rest their head on, making it even more comfortable for them to nap. Dogs are always trying to sleep on pillows of some form or another, and this is the perfect way to accommodate them.

The bottom cushion of this dog bed is designed to be as inviting as possibly while still being strong enough to support your dog. One of the great features here is that you can take off the outside padded ring and take the bottom pad with you wherever you go. In fact, if you're planning to go on a road trip with your canine friend, this pad makes a great car bed for those long drives.

This idea also works very well for dogs that spend the day in a crate. The cushion part of the donut dog bed makes a very nice padding for the bottom of the crate and keeps them up off the hard plastic. You can then later remove the padding and reattach the upper part. Being able to use the two parts of the bed separately is one of the most attractive things about it since it can save you some money.

Another great thing about donut dog beds is that they are sturdy and can hold up well to use and age. The cushions can be taken apart and even thrown in the washing machine time and time again. Don't worry about your dog having an accident in its bed or dealing with unwanted stains-just give the cushion a nice wash or spray with any cleaning spray.

The donut dog bed also comes in a variety of fabric coverings that range from wool and microfiber to flannel and leather. The best way for you to decide which one suits your needs is to find out whether you want something that will stand up to some tough puppy love (like the wool) or something soft and relaxing for an older dog (like the microfiber). Check into both to see what works best for the dog that 's intended to use it.

Think about size, too. Donut dog beds come in a number of different sizes, and obviously a Chihuahua isn't going to need the same size as a German Shepard. But think about the age of your dog for a moment. A German Shepard puppy doesn't look that big, but they will grow quickly. Take this into effect before buying your donut dog bed.

The donut dog bed comes in a number of different colors and patterns, and you'll find that it's easy to select a fabric that matches the dcor you already have. You can also select the color based on your dog's personality or match it to their coat. Although it's not the biggest reason for selecting a bed, it is a fun little extra. You can probably even find a color that matches your own bed or room carpet if you want.

As you can see, the donut dog bed has a variety of great things about it. It's soft and comfortable for your dog, it's sturdy and washable, and can be split into two parts as needed. This dog bed is one of the older dog bed designs, but don't automatically assume that newer designs are better. This one has been around for quite some time, and as you can see, there are reasons for its popularity.
