During the time you are working with your dog. Pick a place that is safe. Never start your training near a street or busy predestrian walk way.
As the dog begins to follow your commands. It is always good to give praise.
There are many methods that can be used to train your dog. Praise is only one. Some dogs respond better to food or play. You need to experiment with these methods to see which works best.
